ZenSmart is a standards based workflow automation platform, designed for openness. It provides more than 100 existing direct integrations as well as JDF, Hotfolder, JSON and XML integration options. The platform is by default provided as a Cloud based solution but optionally you can deploy locally or as a cloud-local hybrid where the imposition server is located locally. This is ideal for very high transaction sites with very large imposed files.

Order integrations
Web to print, e-commerce, order aggregators & 3PL all ready to go. Just plug and play. Add unlimited stores and order sources.
From Etsy to Taopix, Printbox to MediaClip; Orderdesk to Printify and many well known consumer brands, ZenSmart has a library of existing order integrations. For other order sources, the richly documented ZenSmart easyAPI enables rapid integration of other order sources.
RIP integrations
Deep RIP integrations enable powerful submission control and rich information and monitoring of RIPs and presses
Caldera, Fiery, Wasatch, Onyx, SmartStream & PrintOS and many other RIPs are deeply integrated with ZenSmart. Some RIPs are more capable than others but depending on RIP automated retry, RIP queuing, RIP error detect and management, job start and stop times and print status are all seamlessly echoed to ZenSmart and attached against the Batch, Order and Submission.
Press integrations
Digital press (sheet and web), DTG, wide format, grand format, UV-LED, laser engraving and embroidery integrations via hot folder JDF or DTS
From HP Indigo to CTP and Heidelberg Speedmaster, Mimaki to Epson and Epilog Lasers to Kornit and high performance apparel solutions like ROQ International and M&R, ZenSmart has a wide variety of press integrations. Depending on press version and press features native JDF or hot folder workflow is supported with some presses providing rich information about job submit and job complete and any press issues to take automation to the next level.
Finishing integrations
Optical mark, JDF and XML or API integrations with a "big" list of finishing kit from Hunkeler to Tecnau, Zund, Aristo, GP2, Imaging Solutions, Polar, Mita, Kolbus and many more
In print on demand there are countless finishing solutions – some are dumb devices which we automate by placing zone scanners to observe all work moving past that device. Others have XML, API or JDF support enabling deep integration and a richer automation solution. On cutting equipment ZenSmart has a library of integrations for optical mark driven equipment from Tecnau, Horizon, Zund and many more.
Logistic integrations
There are so many to mention - all the logical providers and platforms are integrated and ready to go - UPS, FedEx, DHL, Royal Mail, DPD, ShipStation, shipcaddie, ShipIt, Aramex, Australia Post and the list goes on
Capabilities of shipping providers and the shipping platform vary widely – but you probably know that. Some offer great API integrations, fast and performant – others are not so good. Some provide no API’s, just fixed rate tables. ZenSmart elegantly handles all the strengths and weaknesses of the platforms by knitting them into a whole (and even enabling dynamic rate shopping between the platforms).
ERP, Accounting & MIS integrations
There are as many ERP and MIS as colors in the rainbow. Share data with any of them via JSON, CSV or optionally direct integrate
In addition to direct integration – one of the great ZenSmart features is that you can easily define a report and then select a JSON output. A structured file is then automatically output by ZenSmart and ingested by the systems you need to integrate with. Data can be automatically provided every few minutes for constant updates to other systems that need the data.
